Failed Network License request's clobber autocad settings ?

Is there a work-a-round for this...
everytime a failed network license request happens it clobbers autocad
settings back to some default.
mbuttonpan
autosavetime
snapsymbols
several others.

Nope. It's a known bug. Sorry to tell you, but at least you know you're not
crazy, right?

This bug is driving me crazy... getting good gas mileage... and... thankfully,
I don't have far to drive.
only visiting at this point.

I think folks are resetting the variables on load as a workaround (ie .mnl
file).
