Hi,

try reloading the CUI file:

Input "cuiload", unload FactApplicatoin.cuix, then reload it.

Does this work?

Is anything being displayed on the command line when hitting the buttons?

no nothing is displayed on the command line...

OK, what happens if you invoke _FACT_ASSETBROWSER on the command line?

This sould display the Asset Browser - same as if you would hit the Palettes button.

it says that it is an Unknown command..

Hi,

Could you try to go in Control panel / Program and repair Autodesk factory design Suite utilities for Autocad 2012.

You can also try Add/ Remove features.

Please ensure that UAC is off, antivirus also and that you are a local admin. This should help.

I have also installed Factory Design Suite 2014 and when either clicking the "pallettes">Asset Browser/Material Flow/Properties or typing in the commands to launch the palettes nothing seems to happen.  No palettes populate the screen and the command line just shows the command.  It seemed to work the other day but now nothing.  I have installed the new Autodesk 360 update in case that was screwing up the cloud syncing.  But that has had no effect.  I have tried opening these palettes in Autodesk Mechanical, Autodesk Architecture, and Autodesk Inventor, all from FDS 2014 and none of them work.  I've also tried them on multiple workstations with the same result.  Please assist.

Update:

I've had the I.T. department disable all my antiVirus/Firewall software in case that was blocking access to the features.. They still do not work.  Is there anything specific we should try AutoDesk?  I sure would like some kind of help figuring this out.  I can not complete my work without having access to the Assets.

Update 2:

Through more testing, I have noticed the Factory Design utilities [Asset Browser, Material Flow, Properties] that do not work on my/other's computers could possibly be related to the fact they are all standalone licenses installed using a deployment.  We have 3 workstations that utilize a Network license installed with a different deployment, and those computers can access the Factory Design utilities with no problems at all.  What could have gone wrong that would restrict standalone installs and not network installs?  Again, patiently waiting.. but would like some sort of acknowledgement on this.  Thanks.
