Excluding Licence Question

Hey Guys,

Was hoping someone could help me with a question regarding Excluding.  I cant seem to get a hold of a the Chat with the AutoDesk Tech Support and there is no direct phone number to contact them.  So my problem is that I have a AutoDesk Building Design Suite Standard and I am trying to limit the users to only use ReCap for the mean time since most of our users are still on 2014 and I am still testing out the changes on the 2015 version.

So all in all the question I am having is that if i use the "EXCLUDE 48800ACD_2006 GROUP Engineering Group" type method and block out all of the products but leave ReCap running.  If I were to do that by excluding AutoCad, AutoCad MEP, AutoCAD Structural Detailing, Navisworks Products, Revit, Showcase and etc..., will it still be able to pull licence for ReCap from the network server and work on its own?

Thanks,

Z Maung

The ReCap Pro extension *does* require a license.  If users are going to be doing point cloud registration, you may want to investigate controlling who should have access to the Pro licenses.

Recap Pro does require a license; however Recap 360 is managed in the Manage Users section of the Autodesk Subscription site.

Going back to your question about preventing users from using the other software in the suite, using the EXCLUDE method you mentioned will indeed accomplish what you're trying to do.
