After having problems installing Max 2013 on my main workstation (just wouldn't get past the second install screen) I gave up and tried installing on a new laptop. This was successful; however, after a recent restart I now have another problem! I get a message that says" 3D Studio Max has stopped working" and another message that says "Unable to initialize adlm - Error code <20> (see attachment)
Can anybody help please? I have spent many frustrating days now trying to fix these problems on both my systems. I have been using Max since the MS-DOS days and have never had so many problems as I have had recently!
