Error installing/activating Infrastructure Design Suite 2015

I have a stand-alone license on subscritpion. I received a brand new computer Monday. I used the link I recieved via email from Autodesk Subscription back in April to download the 2015 Infrastructure Suite. During the installation process I was asked for my serial number and product key. I inputted the values from the same email. Both values were accepted with a green checkmark and installation proceeded as expected.

I attempted to start up AutoCAD for the first time. A screen came up asking me to accept Autodesk’s privacy policy. I was able to click the check box indicating I had read it, but I was not able to click on either the Agree or Cancel buttons. When I clicked the red X in the upper right corner to close the window an error message popped up saying “Your license is invalid. Please contact your local authorized AutoCAD dealer”. I click OK and the next message says “This product has not been properly activated on this system”. I click OK again and the program quits.

I contacted my reseller, Imaginit, and was told my license is tied to my operating system and since I have a new operating system, I need a new license. I was given the phone number for Autodesk tech support.

I called tech support but the person I spoke to was only able to give me instructions to find my request code, but since the Free Trial screen does not come up when I start my software, that didn't help. I also searched my computer for "USRegInfo.html" and came up empty. I have a ticket open with Autodesk Support but no one has contaced me yet and my boss is hounding me to get this fixed and get back to work.

1.  Please use the Quick Uninstall Tool and uninstall the Suite.

2.  The use the Virtual Agent to download the parts to install it via http://upandready.typepad.com

3.  Make sure that that parts when downloaded are the correct size.

I discovered a glitch with my mouse driver was the culprit. I started the program and when the Privacy Policy came up, after clicking the check box, I pressed Enter on my keyboard instead of trying to click with my mouse. That did the trick as the program opened and I recieved an email from Autodesk with an activation code.
