Just installed our a seat of our network version of Autodad Electrical 2015. I have already requested the new .lic file from autodesk and this is now merged with my current license file on the server. The NLM Tools shows that there is a license available.
I have already upgraded the NLM to 11.12.0 build.
I have other 2015 products that are using the NLM and network licenses and they are working fine. I am only have trouble with this AE 2015.
On the client workstation:
There is no C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Adlm\CascadeInfo.cas file.
There is a "ACAD_E2015ENUAdlm.txt". In this file it shows this for each time I try to start Acad.

Not sure what the "License server dystem does not support this feature" is about. Maybe this is what is causing the trouble.....IDK.
Any suggestions on why this is not working?
Thanks.

It's definitely not wanting to cascade to the proper license. Thus it is not creating the cascadeinfo.cas file. You might try copying this file from another computer into that one. Is this the only ACADE that is not launching? Or is it all of them?
The only other thing that comes to mind is if there is another license manager on your network (or on the client) that it is looking at.
This is the first installation of AE2015 (network version) that I have tried to get going.
This is the only license manager on the network. I have set the environment variable on the client to point to the proper server (fmi7) just to make sure its going to the correct one.
I will check in the morning to make sure there is not a NLM on the client, but it should not be one there.
Duncan:
The server is running Windows Server 2012 (R2). The .lic file that Autodesk sent to me when I registered AE 2015 had this in it. To merge I just copied the information below the "Increment" line and put that in my .lic file for all my other products. You are correct though about the Flexnet code for Acad_E 2015. I noticed the same thing when I searched for the Flexnet code and found this.
Maybe, thats the feature that the its talking about when it says "VendorError=-18 [License server system does not support this feature....". Not really sure why its different.... but that is what they sent me.
Thanks
When you merged the license files, were they created on the same date? If not, the INCREMENT line will not match the parent PACKAGE line. You may simply need to have your LIC files recreated.
For the best method to properly combine your license files, please read my entire thread here and choose the method that best fits your needs:

Nate,
They are not the same date......
Rather than just merging only the INCREMENT section into my license, I mergered both the PACKAGE and INCREMENT section from the new license into the single license file.
It works now.
Thanks,
Kirk
Yes- I think Travis is on teh right track. So- this license could appear in the Status Enquiry and not actually be working. If you cut up a license file and only included the Increment portion, it could produce a false positive display here.
Check to see if you have a just an increment, and if you have the original license that was generated, you can compare the two.
