Education Suite and License for other programs

We have upgraded our NLM server to 2010. When I open Autocad, the program loads OK.
When I open other programs included in the suite (revit, inventor etc) I get an activation dialog box that tells me how many day I have until it expires. I checked with registration at autocad and they said that the NLM file should work with all the products in the suite. How do I get the other progams to pull a license off of the server? It seems we have had this problem in the past and the instructor has just activated each product individually, but we want to use the server for our new install.

Ah yes... the typical problem of "I have an NLM but my product is asking for Activation." Before the days of 2010, you could just make a simple registry change and your product would magically change license types. I have posted that solution a million times in this forum. However, with the 2010 product line, that fix went bye-bye. Unfortunately, you will have to reinstall your products and ensure that you click the 'Configure' button to perform a custom install. That way you can choose network version as the installation instead of the default stand-alone license type. I wish there was an easier way, but at this time... the only solution is carefully reinstall.
