Hi Members,
I just joined the forum today. Looking to start a career in Autocad and would like to know what "free student version" of Autocad will work using a computer that has a Celeron processor (if at all possible). I am aware that the system requirements call for -at least- a Pentium III or IV but would like to know if anyone has had success simply learning the most basic functions of Autocad. Thank you kindly
Software isn't tied to a specific brand of processor. Anything reasonably recent will do for learning, just ensure that you have appropriate amounts of RAM (8 GB or more) and a hard drive big enough to handle both the operating system and all software you are going to install. A dedicated video card is recommended but not manditory if you are only doing simple 2D work.
