Does ACAD 2009 work on Windows 7 64bit?

Hi all,

my customer wont upgrade ACAD 2009 but he is in need of a new PC.

According to here

No Win 7 is mentioned.

Is there information, if it still will work?

Hello. It was not built for Windows 7 and is unsupported in Windows 7. Will it actually work in Windows 7? Most likely, yes. I have seen it work. Also, the version of Windows 7 may have Windows Xp mode, which you should be able to utilize if you need.

So, recap- not built for Windows 7 but will most likely work. I would install it and give it a try.

Ad for Graphics card, Quaddros in general are good. I would pretty much send you to the same like you posted. If it is on the list it is tested. Not to mean others would not work, but these were tested.

The Quaddro 600 isn't availiable here, so i'll get the K600. (I assume, it's the follow-up chip?)

Then i'll give it a shot.
