Distributed License Server

I have 10 Civil 3D, 12 BS, and 23 ADT. I need to split the licenses between
two offices. I think the best method to this madness would be to use the
Distributed License method by using two LM in one location and one LM in the
other location. I would then distribute the licenses between the three
servers.
My questions are as follows:
1. If one of the servers goes down, are the number of licenses that are on
that server not accessible during this down time or is the .lic file/LM
smart enough to adjust the licenses over to another server until the down
server is back online ??
2. If we distribute the licenses across three servers is it easy enough to
reallocate licenses if one of the servers is down for an extended amount of
time ??
3. One last question. When the install packages are pushed out to the users,
does Autocad look to any of the three servers for a license or is the
package assigned to a specific LM ??
Thanks, Kenny

Hi Kenny,

In that case your LM is down and your client try to have a license from the
two others server.
Nothing is adjust.
The solution if you want have all your licence all the time is the redundant
model.

You must contact Autodesk to have new .lic file.

See this document for the variable ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE
