Solved: Re: directx runtime failure on AutoCad 2014

trying to install autocad 2014 LT onto my windows 7 computer. I had a trial version of 2013 on it and now want to upgrade and purchase it - but it isn't loading.

I looked at a few other of similar cases, but they seemed to be from earlier versions of autocad...

AND GOD KNOWS, THERE ISN'T A FRICKING PHONE NUMBER TO CALL AUTOCAD!!!

so Autocad - if you want me to spend my money - get this program installed on my computer!!!!

I understand your frustration, but the problem does not exist within the DirectX installation, but rather a problem downloading the software from the server.

Install Autodesk® AutoCAD LT® 2014 Failed Download Failed, Installation aborted, Result=1603

I would recommend that you try downloading your product using Matt, the virtual assistant, by following the directions here:

As for telephone support, that is a service provided by your local Value Added Reseller. If product support is important to you, then you should always purchased your software from a VAR rather than a big box / Internet store.
