I have created a Navisworks Manage 2014 deployment from a PDS Ultmate Suite installation. When I created the deployment, I made the image on a folder called c:\autodesk\Navisworks3_Manage_PDS_BDS_IDS_Ult then moved it to a server location. I changed the .ini files to point to the new ADMIN_IMAGE_LOCATION. The path length is 64 characters.
The deployment will run and install just fine from the c:\autodesk folder.
I realize the deployment folder name is a bit lengthy, but I wanted a descriptive name. But when I go to launch it from the server location it doesn't repond. There is no setup.exe running in the processes.
I tried changing the folder length and the .ini file locations back to something shorter, but that didn't work. I have a Simulate deployment named with a similar length and it launches just fine.
Is the Name length the reason it is not launching? Or is it something else? Are there other things to shorten in the delployment? Or do I need to redo it?
