Civil 3D trial period changed from 30 days to 7 days when Windows 8.1 installed

Hello all,

I recently installed the trial version of Civil 3D. Later that evening when my PC upgraded to Windows 8.1 the trial period changed from 30 days to 7 days. I was hoping to get the full 30 day trial. Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Brian H.

You'll have to install on another machine then.  There is no way to change the licensing term.  You're lucky the OS upgrade didn't expire the trial altogether.  Many others haven't been as lucky.  Sorry.  Smiley Sad

I saw another post where someone had a similar problem with ACAD 2014 LT and a product specialist was able to restore the trial period. How is Civil 3D any different?
