Checking network licenses for duplication of Package/Features

Recently Autodesk Product Support was asked:

I have a network license but it will not check out the correct number of licenses.

I used the http://www.licenseparser.com to check out the license file and I noticed that there were Package/Feature lines that were the duplicated. i.e.

1 Subscription Package: AutoCAD Revit Suite 66000REVSU_F

1 Subscription Package: AutoCAD Revit Suite 66000REVSU_F

1 Subscription Package: AutoCAD Revit Suite 66000REVSU_F

The end user was supposed to have 3 seats so the correct syntax from the parser should be:

3 Subscription Package: AutoCAD Revit Suite 66000REVSU_F

To resolve this issue, ensure that all serial numbers have Silver Subscription and call the Autodesk Business Center to merge the licenses.

This is a common question that we would like to get a solution out to a larger audience of users. Edited by: david.lau on May 6, 2010 8:19 AM
