Changing from a standalone to Network license in Inventor 2012
Our IT department have installed Inventor 2012 on a server but have installed it as a standalone version whereas the serial number is for a network version.
I have looked at the registry and there is the option, in HKLM\Software\Inventor\RegistryVersion16.0, to change the LicenseMode & LicenseType.
The server used is system critical and, for other software, cannot be shutdown without top level approval.
Is there any way to change this without re-installing the software?
