Central location for plotters

In the past I set my plotter config folder on the server and that started in 2008. I put them in a folder called 2008. Now things area starting to get a little snotty, in that I now have deployments for 3 Revit package, MEP Suite, MEP standalone, LT and Civil3d.

Can someone coach me on how, where and what I  should put on the server so I don't have a gazillion files floating around?

Like content, parts catalogs yada yada..

Maybe the answer is leave it local ?

Thank you

Joe Bouza
