Hi, I've been trying to download the autocad for mac student version and the page just won't open, I've tried on a bunch of different computers and the same thing happens, so I gave up and downloaded the 2013 trial version and when I try to open the program it asks me for a serial number and product key even though I selected the trial option when installing.

If you go to the Autodesk Student Community and click on the My Software link does it display a Product Code and Serial Number generated from your attempts there?
If so, simply use those numbers. The install files are the same from any Autodesk source.
