I am trying to uninstall Revit 2014 x64 on a Windows 8.1 platform. The machine I have is a Acer Aspire V3-771G laptop. Everything will uninstall except Revit itself. I have looked through both the community and other links on how to uninstall it (the majority referring to a link - http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall - of which a message comes up stating "We're sorry, but your operating system is not supported by Microsoft Fix it at this time."
So can anybody out there advise me how to uninstall this program in totality. The reason behind this is speed incompatibility occurs when AutoCad 2015 x64 is installed on the same machine, (even though only one program is operating at a time). The speed of the machine decreases significately, like only 25% speed of its normal operating speed. My laptop is meant to be a speed demon, with a Core i7, 16GB DDR3 possessing a Nvidia Geforce 710M card, with turbo boost of 3.2GHz. Also the HD is partitioned so only the OS and programs are on the C drive while all other data reside on the D drive. This allows the C drive to be 90% freed up.
All help and advise would be gratefully accepted. Regards.
