Copy USB to hard drive. Install from there as administrator. Make sure anti-virus and UAC is off.
Thank you for advise. I followed your suggestions, however still unable to reinstall. I then did a windows 7 restore system to prior to unstall, did a repair and then a reinstall from control panel. I now receive message regarding license and Revit 2013 loads in viewer mode. Any futher suggestions would be appreciated.
I have spent much of the day trying to resolve this issue. Maybe I should completely uninstall Building Design Suite and reinstall, or maybe just reformat hard disk and re-install as I only use this computer for CAD and nothing else
You probably will have to blow away your licensing and reactivate the product. Granted, if you're gonna reinstall Windows, then that wil also likely fix it.
After using unstall utility and then uninstalling the remainder of 2013 programs from control panel and then manually blowing away anything relating to Autodesk 2013, I have finally reinstalled building design suite on the second attempt. I still have my original problem with no family template. Revit.ini refers to chinese folder, which does not exist. I did a repair and the Australia content was ticked but not installed. I have included Autodesk.com in internet trusted sites, but still no families.
Check out my last post here, in regards to your libraries and templates not installing.
Thanks,
Danny
Finally got Revit 2013 as it should be.. Australia Content and templates loaded correctly.
I think the issue was partly due to Building Design Suite and the folders created.
After help from this forum and Autodesk I have all systems are go....
Thank You
