Cannot reinstall Maya 2014

Hi team,

I have a problem with install maya 2014 on Window 7 -64 bit.

On my computer i uninstall the maya 2014 successfull. But the problem appear when i try reinstall maya 2014 again. I get back the information " Maya 2014 is INSTALLED". I think it related with the registry of WIndow OS. Can you help me reslove this? Thank you so much.

This is a Windows thing. Your file association was removed when you uninstalled.

1.) Right-click a file

2.) Click "Properties"

3.) Next to the "Opens with" field click "Change"

4.) Select 3ds Max or navigate to the 3ds Max exe and select it. 

This should reassociate the file type with 3ds Max.
