Cannot Install Revit 2014

I am having a very difficult time installing this software, I have tried several times over three weeks. The machine I have us currently running windows 7 and is a 64bit, I have tried 2015 as well as 14. Attempted installation as an admin, through browser and direct install. It really causes trouble when it gets to the requirement to install the C++ files, I have Visual Studio 2013 on my machine and I have also gone ahead and installed the required file that needs to be downloaded from Revit through a separate entity. Alas,onthing seems to be working, please provide solutions or ideas if there are any, as to what could be causing this issue.
