Cannot install on the current operating system?

I am running Windows 7 ultimate in 64 bit but I cannot install autocad 2011 due to the "cannot install on the current operation system" error. What should I do?

The requirements states that Windows 7 ultimate will work:

Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise, Ultimate, Professional, or Home Premium (compare Windows 7 versions); Microsoft Windows Vista Enterprise, Business, or Ultimate (SP1 or later) (compare Windows Vista versions); or Microsoft Windows XP Professional (SP2 or later)

There are specific downloads for 32-bit and 64-bit. If you have media AutoCAD 2011 has 3 DVD’s:

Disk one is 32-bit Disk 1 of 2.

Disk two is 64-bit Disk 1 of 2.

Disk three is 32-bit and 64-bit disk 2 of 2.

Make sure you are using the 64-bit download or DVD for 64-bit operating systems or the 32-bit download or DVD for 32-bit operating systems.

I am also tyring to install inventor 2010 or 2011. I have downloaded both programs from the website fine and after the file have been "un-zipped" a screen with an image and installation and read me options pops up I click the installation button and it says that it "Cannot install on the current operating system".  I am running the 32 bit with windows vista. I have also tried it on my other labtop which has windows 7. I believe both use 32 bit becuase when I checked my display settings they both had 32 as the max.

Any help would be very much appreciated. I am working on a SAE aerodesign competition and our group is in need of some good software and I personally like inventor after taking a class on it a few years ago.

Thanks,
