Cannot install Maya trial!

Ok, I installed the maya trial today and there was some weird error, whilst installing so I deleted it and redownloaded it. I then reinstalled maya without any problems, however, when I open maya I get a dialogue box, which is asking me for my licence key.

I thought I didn't need a licence key for the Maya trial?

You are correct, trial versions should not be asking you for serial numbers and product keys. On the first installation screen you should be able to see the option to use your product as a trial or to enter a serial number as per the screenshot attached here.

Is this the first time you try to use Maya as a trial?

Yep this is my first time. I've never used maya before!

I did have the option to choose a trial when installing Maya, but once I open it, the message I sent you comes up.
