Cannot install Inventor Professional 2014 (English) 64-Bit Part1 & Part2 files.

I am working in a High School in Edinburgh, UK, where last
week I was having problems downloading and installing Autodesk
Inventor Professional 2014 (English) 64-Bit. After several unsuccessful exchanges

with the Autodesk Support team, they have suggested I post details of my problem

on the forum. This is pretty much a "pasted" copy of my last message to them.

Today I have gone back to the original PC onto which I downloaded the
two "parts" of the software last week. I logged back on to the
Autodesk web-site (using Internet Explorer 9) and tried to download
the software again to see if the "Autodesk Download Manager" would
kick in this time (as it did on my own personal laptop at home).

However, after selecting the required software, I was not offered the
opportunity to actually do the download. Does the Autodesk web-site
know that the software has already been downloaded to that computer?

I moved to a different PC in the classroom and logged on to the
Autodesk web-site again (using Firefox this time) and tried to
download the software. I was again immediately shown the two "parts"
of the software and told to save them to the same folder. Again there
was no sign of the "Autodesk Download Manager" software being installed and
Firefox just downloaded the two "parts" and saved them to disk.

Again, as soon as I launched the downloaded files and they tried to
self-extract to the "C:\Autodesk\" folder, the "Autodesk Download
Manager has stopped working" error message appeared on the screen and
everything stopped. I have attached a file containing an image of the error message.

It seems that the downloaded files cannot self-extract without your
"Download Manager", but your "Download Manager" is not always
installed when software is downloaded from the your web-site.

Can the "Download Manager" software be installed retrospectively and
launched on its own? There is no link to it on the Autodesk web-site.

Can anyone explain why the Download Manager software does not kick in when I try to download

from our school computers (Windows 7 Enterprise) but it did on my personal laptop at home

(Windows XP Professional)?

Do you have a UK phone number I can use to speak to someone at Autodesk?
