Cannot Install 3DS Max Error 1603 and Connection has Expired

I have uninstalled all visual c++ redist packs, running the automatic installer gives the error "Installation complete, some files failed to install".

I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-...

Or you can download the prereq program from Microsoft and preinstall it as well.  Whatever works best for your situation.

I've tried that, I end up getting a
