Can't locate student activation request inventor pro after reinstall

-the program does not launch error 0xc0000142
-when I reinstall, it skip the step where I can activate
-I removed al AutoDesk software, clean out the computer as described on the AutoDesk site. Download for a clean install. But it still skips the step where I can choose to activate and still I can't open the program.
-I found before the activation request in appdata, but somehow it was only for designer pro. Now it is empty?
-3ds max installed just fine

Before even attempting to reinstall the software.  The 0xc0000142 error concerns me.  It basically is a FATAL error with is very hard to resolve.  Are you running certified hardware and graphics hardware?

I got the same system where  I run inventor pro 2013 on. Only I got windows 8.1,  3ds max is running just fine?
