Welcome to the community.

Your product is failing to install because the prerequiste program required by the installer is failing prior to the installation of your Autodesk software.

Install .NET Framework Runtime 3.5 SP1 Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603

If the prerequisite program already exists on your computer, it is likely newer than the one the Autodesk installer is attempting to install. Please uninstall the prerequisite program causing the issue and run your installer again.

For more information about this process, please see my KB link here:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Installation-Licensing/Some-Products-Fail-to-Install-Result-1603/td-p/...

The prerequisite is not already installed and installation still fails, then you may need to make an advanced edit to the setup.ini file to ignore the error. Please make sure you manually install the prerequisite file from Microsoft and then modify the setup.ini file accordingly.

For more information on this process, please see my KB article here:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Installation-Licensing/Install-NET-Framework-Language-Pack-Failed-Inst...

Since yours involves .NET Framework, if none of the above help, you might need to use the .NET Cleanup Tool and then reinstall your .NET Framework redistributables.

Good Luck!

How many darn installation problems will we have in future versions of auto desk products.I am so sick and tired of having to try and install auto desk software. I installed windows 10 with the new Microsoft .net framework 4.5.I need this because I develop web apps with Microsoft visual studio 2015. How the hell can I install Auto desk 3dsmax 2015 which was all fine in my previous window 8.1 pro ? I am thinking of moving to another software package, SERIOUSLY !

Very very dissapointed !

atached is the installation logfile !

Keep in mind that the software is not yet supported on Windows 10. The
problem with installation is rarely with the Autodesk product itself, but
rather with the Microsoft prerequisites.

Thanks.
