Can't activate my Maya 2010 upgrade

I purchased Maya 2009 along with a support contract and received Maya 2010 as part of that contract.  I tried to activate Maya 2010 using the Serial number on the back of the Maya 2010 case but the activation software says that the serial number is invalid.  Is there another serial number I should be using?
