C++2005 1603 ERROR

Hello, I've tried installing Autodesk 3D max on my PC but I've always get the 1603 error when I try to install it.

Things that I've tried:

-Uninstalling all redistributables and installing it again

-Open the C++2005 setup with admin rights

-Modify the steup.ini in the autodesk folder

-Installing autodesk/C++2005 in safe mode

-Empty the %temp% folder

-Disabling the firewall and antivirus

-Executing "fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\ in cmd with admin rights"

-Cleaning the registry with RegCure PRO

And nothing worked, so, after countless hours looking for a solution I come here for help.

Thanks.

Can put the contents of your setup log up here so we can get a better idea of where things are failing? The log will be generated in the TEMP directory which can be accessed by typing '%temp%' in the START > RUN. Please locate the logs which will have a naming convention of "Product Name Setup.log"

 I've tried installing Autodesk 3D max on my PC 64 bits (windows 8.1)  but I've always get the 1603 error when I try to install it.

Then try to install the microsoft c + + 2005 file (I have other higher installed) but this will not let me install it.

Things that I've tried:

-Uninstalling all redistributables and installing it again

-Open the C++2005 setup with admin rights

-Modify the steup.ini in the autodesk folder

-Installing autodesk/C++2005 in safe mode

-Empty the %temp% folder

-Disabling the firewall and antivirus

-Executing "fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\ in cmd with admin rights"

-Cleaning the registry with RegCure PRO

- Paste "fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\ " in the prompt

thanks

IF you are unable to install Visual C++ 2005 this may be something you need to troubleshoot with Microsoft as they are the ones who create that installer. I did a search for the error you are getting and found a thread on the microsoft site. You may want to try checking that out.

"autodesks 3d max 2014 network error cannot download"

it may be due to incompatibility with windows 8.1? no claims, I'm trying to install net framework 3.5 but does not start, I'm still looking for solutions but without success
thanks in advance

Looks like connection problems based on the error. Can you try as a workaround downloading and installing from the following direct download link?

Thank you for all, but I have solved the problem of autodesk 3d max

I reestablishment my computer, and returned to windows 8 (before i have windows 8.1)

I was unable to install microsotf visual c++2005 and Direct x runtime.

I don´t know if the problem was because I had a lot of trash on the computer or incompatibility with the new windows.

Thank you again
