I am running maya 2014 with a borrowed license on a laptop OSX. And I have some issues.
I cannot start maya from a shell nor get the batch renderer to work as the borrow license dialog demands confirmation to proceed before maya can run, but no dialog appears. At least thats what I think is happening.
If I return to campus and no longer borrow a license there is no issue. Alternatively, when away from campus, If I launch maya by clicking the maya icon in the applications folder maya will launch after I have clicked away the licensing dialog.
Can I set a variable that stops the confirmation dialog for the borrowed license, this behavious is close to infuriating.
