I have a problem in a Novell 4.11 network install running on the
server using a network deployment/setup scheme as detailed in the
installation manual.

I changed the "start in" directory for the shortcut to: C:\ACAD2000 to point
to the local client directory but I still get the same error.

This problem also occurres in the Architectual Desktop install that I just
did yesterday.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks

p.s Supplying more than one possible solution to this problem would
expedite the solution to this problem. Everyone keeps giving one little
solution, then I have to wait for a couple of days for another solution to
try. Lets get a little more in-depth.

worth while, as our local rep. despite his title as an "Application

This morning I replaced ALL paths specified in the Tools/Options screen to
Mapped Drive Paths instead of the original UNC paths that were determined by
the Install process, and I eliminated 2 of the 3 Bad argument type stringp
nil errors. This is what I am now getting when I open a new drawing:

Regenerating model.
; error: bad argument type: stringp nil
AutoCAD menu utilities loaded.

Any ideas what could be causing this one error. This is still a "clean"
install - nothing has been changed from the default install settings as far
as additional modules being loaded at startup etc.

Thanks
