Autodesk Product Serial Numbers

Hello,

One of my job responsibilities is to create administrative images with the
latest service packs / hot fixes of Autodesk products deployed to our users
in the US and OUS. Based on the number of Autodesk products that my company
has purchased and after applying the latest service packs / hot fixes,
creating US and OUS administrative images is a very time consuming task.

With the exception of the Autodesk product serial numbers, our US and OUS
administrative images are 100% identical. What I would like to do is build a
US administrative image, copy the US administrative image to a OUS
administrative image, and finally edit the OUS administrative image and
change the Autodesk product serial number. My question is, within an
administrative image is there some file that can be edited to change the
serial number for our OUS administrative images?

When you copy the US administrative image to an OUS administrative image, simply use the Autodesk Deployment Wizard to modify the deployment and enter a new serial number. It'll only take you a few minutes. Might even consider changing the EULA agreement too in this particular case.

Alternately, if you uncheck the Silent Mode installation you could potentially change the serial number at the client during installation. Either way, it is pretty easy to do.
