Hello. I am creating an SCCM deployment for Autodesk Inventor View 2015. The deployment worked as expected, with one exception. This new version of Inventor View also installs "Autodesk Application Manager", which runs constantly in the background. There seems to be little information about this app in the install notes, and even during manual installation, you are never prompted to "op out" of installing the software. I could always create a second deployment , with a dependency on Autodesk Inventor View 2015, that uninstalls the Application Manager, but I'd prefer this to be as streamlined as possible.
TL;DR:
Is is possible to deploy Autodesk Inventor View 2015 and skip installing Autodesk Application Manager?
Thank You
open the setup.ini file with notepad and edit the sequence:
from:
#=================== Install Execute & UI Sequence
EXE_SEQUENCE=INVENTORVIEW;ADAPPLICATIONMANAGER
to:
#=================== Install Execute & UI Sequence
EXE_SEQUENCE=INVENTORVIEW
regards
Markus
