Autodesk Inventor 2010 Deployment install failed

I finally managed to complete the creation of a deployment package.

However when i click the installation shortcut provided the log it creates is this:

2010/6/8:08:05:54 systemadmin TEST1 === Setup started on TEST1 by systemadmin ===
2010/6/8:08:05:56 systemadmin TEST1 === Setup ended ===

2010/6/8:08:47:45 systemadmin TEST1 === Setup ended ===

How can i find out what is causing the problem?

Hi,

see from the log file, installer failed when initializing. I guess you maybe install a mismatch bit deployment on OS, like you cannot install 32bit deployment on 64bit OS.

please try to open the deployment image folder, under tools folder, click the Create & modify a deployment shortcut, navigate to Begin Deployment, you can see your deployment bit. select modify the deployment, navigate to General Deployment settings page, uncheck silent mode, then finish the deployment modification. try to install the deployment again, error message will throw out if installer encounter any error.

Hi,

There should be one or two more .log files for Inventor 2010 in the same location you found this one. They will be much larger files (might take several minutes to open with Notepad) and contain the detailed information needed to help you troubleshoot this.

Hi,

after you modify the deployment from silent mode to NON-silent mode, did you see any error message when you install it?

there is a detail log file Inventor 2011 setup.log file in %temp% folder.(Start->Run, input %temp%) could you please attach it?

I've not been able to modify it, if i try to i get the same problem, i get the setup initializing progress bar and then it quits and adds another line to the log file.

Also in the %temp% folder i can only find the file i've been quoting from. I've attached it.

Hi,

I afraid the deployment image might be damaged. did you add any language pack when you creating the deploy? or did you move this deployment image location?
