Autocad won't install on my computer

Hi there

I recently downloaded Autocad and architecture 2013. Before installing, I uninstalled all the previous autocad I had because i wanted to tidy up my computer. However when I try to install, I get error messages saying it failed. Here is the log for it.

Hi Ganzo,

Thank you for using Autodesk Forums.

A. Download ACAD 2013 installer from virtual agent.
1.Go to http://www.autodesk.com
2.At the bottom of the page, beneath Help and Support, click Customer Service.
3.Click the Ask button.
4.In the Virtual Agent window, click Downloading and Installation.
5.Click Software Download links.
6.Click "I need to redownload my product."
7.Click "AutCAD Products"
8.Select the appropriate product and click the link to download.

B. Install AutoCAD 2013 as follows:
1.Logon as an Administrator.
2.Empty your TEMP folder.  To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Explorer and hit Enter.
3.Disable your Antivirus software.
4.Disable UAC.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows7/turn-user-account-control-on-or-off
5.Install AutoCAD 2013.

Please let us know if this helps.

appears to me quite weird, because there's almost no mentions about all over the Internet.

I'll very appreciated for any help.

Did you download the software via the Autodesk Virtual Agent or Autodesk Account as Browser Download?

Also when downloading and installing, did you disable your firewall and antivirus and turn off your UAC settings?

Also, try installing from the C:\ drive instead of H:\

Your not trying to install to H are you instead of C?

I'll try to describe my system.
The drive C:\ is SSD , the drive H:\ is a plain HDD.

My antivirus is ESET and always completely disabled for installation.

I'm installing from copy on my HDD

UAC is disabled, the installation is commiting under Administrator.

Kind regards.

Have you tried installing from where the Autodesk software unpacked originally from C:\?

I would suggest downloading again from Autodesk Virtual Agent, unpacking the software from the exe to C:\Autodesk\ and then running the installation from there, not from your H:\ location.

If it doesn't work, could you upload the log file created from whilst installing from C:\

I've been trying to download Autocad for 2 days now. I've tried all 3 types of downloads and attempted 6 times already. I've tried 2015-2017 and none work. I've narrowed It down to the material library not being download. Im going crazy already . I'm trying the spirit ion here but step 6 is nowhere to be found. Please. Help.

6.Click "I need to redownload my product."

I have been using autocad without any problems on my laptop for the last several months however yesterday when I went to start the program either by clicking on the program icon or a drawing I had an error (I think the same as below). Over last night and this morning I have jumped through hoops trying to fully uninstall and reinstall Autocad as around 8 times the process got through download and started install before saying that the install of all components had failed . Finally just now I succeeded in installing Autocad 2017 by not choosing the other two tickboxes below however as soon as I launch a very similar problem comes up on screen as before I uninstalled. I don't have the exact record of the previous error but it was similar and not identical (the exception was at a different location at least one time).
