AutoCAD Map 3D 2014 downloaded and installed But....

So I finally got the program to download and install, only my 20th attmpt.  But now there is no execute file to start the program. It is not there at all.  According to the installed icon in my start menu I should have a file named acad.exe, but I don't.  What do I do to fix this? And can I expect other joyous problems like this?

Uninstall the program.  If it doesn't uninstall, then use the Microsoft Fix It.
