Autocad LT on laptop

I have 1 stand-alone license for LT 2006. According to the website , as in the past, autodesk allows autocad to be installed on 1 laptop that will not be used at the same time as the computer with the main license. That is what I want to do. I tried using the original activation code on the laptop, but that does not work. Do I have to re-activate on the website, and will it even let me do this without calling autodesk?

You will need a different code, as each computer has a unique identifier,
but you should be able to do it through the web if it's not been done too
many times already. Worst case, call them at 800.551.1490.

Thanks, I did it and it worked. I needed it just last week, a/c went out in the office and had to work a couple of days at home. (used the 30 day install)
