AutoCAD LT 2014 free trial crashes at startup

I intend to buy AutoCAD LT 2014 for my business and thought I'd check out the free trial to make sure it has everything I need. I have installed it on my computer and when I open it, it crashes and shuts down as soon as the first working screen appears.

Please help!!

Estelle

You're going to hate my idea...

Autodesk recommended uninstall/reinstall procedures are as follows
Uninstall: http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS45252

Ensure the user installing/uninstalling and using the product have enough rights to do so (install and reinstall as local administrator):
Unable to run AutoCAD® as a restricted user http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS1055299

More complete .NET fix if you did not go through this procedure:
http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Installation-Licensing/NET-Framework-Cleanup-Tool-for-Unhandled-Except...

Restart Windows.

Try the install again.

Ok. I've been able to get it working but not the way you suggested. What happens is as it's opening a box appears where you can select to buy the software, enter a serial number or continue the trial. If you don't have lightening fast reflexes and click on 'continue trial' the whole thing shuts down and disappears. So now I know to keep my wits about me and watch for that box to click on, I click continue trial and I'm in. Probably should be fixed though. Thanks for your help anyway.

My autocad LT 2014 online trial was running but crashed.  after I restarted my computer and tried re-opening LT 14 trial, I get a dialogue box that is requesting a password.  WindowsServer2008R2 datacenter.  I was never given a password when installing the online trial.  I'm also testing out versions before purchasing because I cannot afford the revit package I was used to at my last company.  How do I get back into my 30 day trial?
