AutoCAD LT 2012

I'm trying to activate AutoCAD LT 2012 on a new computer, but whwnever I try to activate it, it gives the following error: The serial number you entered is not valid Try again. (1)

The serial number entered is the exact same that's on the box, and as far as I can tell, this copy has never been installed before.

 

Im installing AutoCAD LT 2012 on a Lenovo T440p machine with Windows 8.1 (Spanish).

AutoCAD 2012 is not compatible with Windows 8.1

 

That being said, the license for that 2012 has probably expired due to Subscription lapse or upgrade to a newer version.

I don't think this particular license was ever upgraded. What do you mean by subscription lapse? This should be a standalone license.

Contacted support and they were able to send me a manual activation code.
