We currently run AutoCAD Architecture 2010 installed from a customised deployment from our server, the server also runs the network licence.
We've just recived the 2012 version and are looking to install on the same server and are looking for advise on how best to proceed.
Can we use the same instance of the network licence util and licence file?
Could we create a new share on the same server for the 2012 deployment so that we could then upgrade client machines over a period of time.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
best method is to upgrade licence tolls on the server.
Have you receive the licence file for your 2012 product ?
No problem to use 2010 or 2012 if you are under subscription. You will see that if you use http://www.licenseparser.com/ .
Yes create a new share on the same server for the 2012 deployment so that you could then upgrade client machines over a period of time.
