Autocad and Mechanical Cascading problems

Hello,

Autodesk 2010 cascading policy shows that Autocad can use Mechanical licenses. We have both Autcad 2010 and Mechanical 2010 licenses, all of them with suscriptions.

Due to hardware restrictions we are installing Autocad 2007 to some users, and they cannot use Mechanical network licenses.

Is this the right behaviour? Since we have suscription, would be allowed to have such cascading?

If is not possible to cascade in such way, which is the oldest Autocad version that allow use Mechanical network licenses?

Thanks.

Alfredo.

Unfortunately AutoCAD 2007 does not cascade to Mechanical.  That release only cascades to the architectural suites.  The cascade scheme changed in 2010.
