Autocad 2015 Crashes when using Annotate and trim...

I have recently installed Autocad R15 on my new Dell Alienware windows 8.1

I use the Annotate command a lot. If I try to trim this annotation Autocad crashes.

Anybody have this problem. I have downloaded Autocad R15 a couple times. Also uninstalled it and

now have re installed from a Usb supplied by Autodesk.

Any help appreciated.

You might try to update your video card driver.  What are you running now?

How do I go about that. Sorry this is a new laptop and I'm still trying to get my head around it.

It has a top spec and the best graphics cards.

Thanks

The graphics card is a Geforce GTX 880m.

Does this help?

Yes.

I would recommend this certified driver:

http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/78877/en-us

When you install it, make sure you check the box for clean installation.  It will require two reboots.  Be patient.

Good Luck!
