AutoCAD 2014 wont install to my windows 8 machine

I am tyring to install AutoCAD on my computer but everytime it fails no matter what I do, I've asked autodesk's twitter support team and they were unable to help.

What they told me to do was "clear your %TMP% folder, install with admin permissions, make sure your anti-virus is disabled,"

I tried this method and the program still wont install

The setup log in the temp folder gives this

callum.smith2,

Hello. I am betting you are installing with your antivirus turned on. Turn it off. Also check the task manager to make sure it is off. Some Antiviruses keep running after you tell them not to. This is the message we see when your Antivirus is preventing you from accessiong the temp directory.

I had this problem but have over come it. When your on the website and it gives you an option to download, install and "Browser Download", choose the "Browser Download".(WITH ALL FIREWALL PROTECTING TURNED). After that it will start another screen and set up (this is the problem that the windows 8 has). THIS WILL THEN START YOU "INSTALL" SCREEN AND ASK YOU FOR YOUR SERIAL NUMBER AND PRODUCT CODE, OR CLICK THE TRIAL BUTTON. This WILL START THE INSTALLATION AND COMPLETE IT.

Hope this helped anyone reading this 🙂
