AutoCAD 2014 installation

I'm trying to install AutoCAD 2014 (win 64) on a windows 8 platform. I'm using Install Now and it has been on the Initializing ... Downloading ... screen for 35 minutes. How long is it supposed to take?

Use the other method, download the entire +1Gig file then install it. Your setup/firewall/whatever is blocking the first option.

Yes, have tried the other two methods and get the "Communication Failure" message ... "Download and installation has been interrupted by a lost connection ...". I haven't moved the installation package, and didn't close or manually refresh the download website. I'm guessing the firewall is blocking somehow. New computer with Windows 8 and I have tried turning off the firewall and still get the same error. This attempt again at install now is the furthest I've gotten.

JandDServices,

Hello. I would not us the Install Now option. Go to Browser download and download the whole package and use this.

When you get a complete download, turn off Antivirus and try to install. If this is still a problem, uninstall Microsoft NET and Microsoft C++.

Thank you,
