AutoCAD 2013 installation

Hi ,

 

I am new to this thread.

Today when i am trying to deploy the AuytoCAD 2013 mechanical using the SCCM. so many machines are failing

with  error code 1603 & 1619. We are having AutoCAd 2011 mechanical installed in all those machines.

While uninstalling the AutoCAD 2011 we are getting these errors. We are having the full access on all the machines in our domain. And when i checked the SCCM advert the error is. A failure exit code of 1073807364 was returned.

Below are the logs from one of the machine.

Please some one reply me ASAP. Due to this we are facing so many issues.AutoCAd 2011 wont work and 2013 wont get installed through SCCM.

Welcome to the community.

 

At first thought, there's no reason to first uninstall 2011 automatically before installing 2013.  You might just try to SCCM deploy 2013 first to at least get that much working. 

 

As for uninstalling 2011, sometimes the uninstaller often still needs the original source for the uninstall.  This can be problematic if the source install no longer exists, or the client no longer matches the source because of additional hotfixes and service packs added after initial install.  That mismatch has plagued the Autodesk installer for quite some time.  In fact, it completely hosed 2013.  So when you do install 2013, do NOT install any service packs with the installation.  Install them after.  Then update your deployment.

Otherwise use the Microsoft Fix it tool and be done with it.
