Hi

I'm totally new to AutoCAD but need to install and use it for the course I'm currently studying and need help...

I obtained a copy from a fellow student but when I come to install I get a warning saying the following:

'64 bit installer required'

'You are attempting to use a 32 bit installer on a 64 bit operating system'

Please exit and use 64 bit installer from autodesk......

How do I do that?

You can request an educational license (serial number / product key) and download the 64 bit version of AutoCAD 2012 (in addition to many other products) via the Education Community - http://students.autodesk.com/.
