AutoCad 2011 Installation Error = 1603 and 1619

I've been reading through some of the discussions about errors in loading AutoCad 2011 and cannot seem to find a solution to my issue. I'm attempting to load AutoCad 2011 on a WIndows Pro. XP platform and I'm getting these errors:

Install Direct x 9.0 Runtime   Succeeded

Install FARO LS 1.1.406.58 Succeeded

INstall Autodesk Material Library 2011 Succeeded

INstall Autodesk Material Library 2011 Base Image Library Succeeded

Install AutoCad 2011 Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603

INstall Autodesk Material Library 2011 Base Image Library Succeeded

INstall Autodesk Material Library 2011 Succeeded

Install FARO LS 1.1.406.58 Succeeded

Install Direct x 9.0 Runtime   Failed Failure is ignored, Result = 1619

Any help would be appreciated.

the solution is simple and very easy.

simply copy the whole disk contents to your hard disk and then run setup from the hard disk.

you have done it...

autocad 2010 installed...

on both xp and windows 7..

I had this error I tried to copy the installation source to my local disk but it still displayed this error

I am having the same error as above, i am installing from the downloaded install files for AutoCAD 2012 using an educational license. My computer meets all of the requirements for running the program and i am using XP sp3. I have tried removing DirectX from the install.ini as suggested, before and after that i have tried manually installing DirectX from both the link given in this post http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=17391481&linkID=9240617 as well as downloading the latest DirectX version from the Microsoft website and installing that. I would appreciate some help.

 p.s. I tried uploading a compressed .zip file with the temp files in it, however it won't let me attach it to this post because it is too big, I have tried compressing with .rar but it comes up with an unsupported file type when trying to upload to this post. Is there an email address that I can send the file to instead? .zip file approximately 2.21 MB. Or is there some files that i could remove that you do not require?
