Autocad 2007 registration lockup

I have installed AutoCadLT 2007 on my dual core machine running Windows XP. Autocad runs fine, but if I try to activate it, It goes to a blank screen with two buttons. No text on the page at all. At that point it is locked up and I have to kill the process. I am running out of time for the grace period and I am running out of patience. Any suggestions?

This issue can occur if Active Scripting is disabled for the My Computer
zone.

To enable Active Scripting

On the Windows (Start) menu, click Run.
In the Open dialog box, enter REGEDIT and click OK
In the Registry Editor, find the following subkey:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Inte rnet
Settings\Zones\0

Double-click the 1400 value.
In the Edit String dialog box, under the Value data field, enter 0.
Find the following subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet
Settings\Zones\0

Double-click the 1400 value.
In the Edit String dialog box, under the Value data field, enter 0.

Thanks for the info. I looked at the registry entries and both were already set to 0. Any other possibilities?

I have the same problem; when I try to register autocad, I recieve an empty register today window (there's a screenshot of it attached). When I look in the registry, both values are set to 0.

I've been searching for another solution for several days and found one for windows xp: http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B831430&x=9&y=20 , but no solution for windows vista (home premium 32bit).
I think that solution will work for me too, but I can't "transfer" it to a vista process.

Welcome to the community..

In the future please create your own posting and not reply to one that is like 5 to 6 years old..  Smiley Wink

Now to your question..  It all depends on the history of your software.  Just because you have it doesn't mean its going to activate.  The 2007 version is obsoleted and retiired and no longer supported.  So how did you obtain this copy of AutoCAD 2007?
