AutoCad 2000 pulling MDT4 license

I have installed MDT4 on several machines running NT4.
I have 2 MDT4 licenses and 15 Autocad 2000 licenses.

When I installed MDT4, I got 2 icons, Autocad 2000 and MDT4.
I assumed that if I run Autocad 2000, that it would pull an Autocad license.
Instead it pulls an MDT4 license.

Is this proper, or is there a fix for this?

Steven,

That is the way it works. MDT uses a special build of AutoCAD that pulls an
MDT license instead of a plain AutoCAD license. So, when AutoCAD is
installed from an MDT CD it pulls a MDT license, not an AutoCAD license.
