For some reason when we brought up autocad this morning it gave us a message

FATAL ERROR: Secuity system(hardware lock or network license)
is not functioning or is improperly installed.

We checked the server and the license manger is running. The only
thing I can think of is the server had a ethernet card and a token ring card
we took
out the token ring card. Could this be it and if it is what do we do.

Lenny,

Any change to the network setup of the system used as the AdLM Server may invalidate your authorization. To correct this, generate a new server
code using AdLM Admin and obtain a new auth code from AutoCAD based on the new Server Code.
By the way, we do not recommend running AdLM an systems that have multiple network adapters as this can cause reliability problems.
